Our Story
Believe it or not, my start in breeding was totally unplanned. Growing up, I always had a dog or two around, but I hadn’t owned one as an adult—until I brought home my first boy, Apollo. After he turned a year old, I started thinking, “Maybe my guy needs a girlfriend?” That’s when I got Fari, my second pup. Breeding wasn’t even on my mind at the time.
Fast forward a bit—Apollo and Fari had grown up together, bonded tightly, and one day, while I was at work, I get a video call from my girlfriend: “THEIR BUTTS ARE STUCK!” 😂 And just like that, our first litter was on the way.
We had 10 beautiful pups in that litter, and from that moment on, I dove headfirst into the world of breeding—researching the breed, talking to other breeders, and learning everything I could.
Six years later, we’ve placed pups in over 12 states, with hopes of going international in the near future. What started as a surprise has grown into a passion—and a family.
Our Mission
At Artistic Bullies, our goal is to create a breed of American Bullies that are not only healthy and athletic, but also intelligent, loving, and truly family-oriented. From the beginning, we’ve been committed to producing dogs that are functional and well-balanced, capable of fitting into a wide range of lifestyles.
Whether you’re highly active, more laid-back, in need of a loyal companion, or even seeking a dog for service or emotional support, we strive to offer a dog that meets your needs. Our mission is simple: to produce amazing dogs for amazing people—no matter what walk of life you’re in.
From Artistic Pits to Artistic Bullies
As our vision evolved, so did our dogs. We originally started with pit bull-type dogs, but over time, our program naturally shifted toward the more bully-type builds. People often asked, “Why are you called Artistic Pits if you breed bullies?”—and they had a point!
To better reflect the dogs we breed today and to eliminate any confusion, we’ve updated our name to Artistic Bullies, along with a new logo that matches our current standard and vision.
